Wikipedia:Requested articles/Biography/By nationality

Before adding a request please:

• Search for existing articles on the same subject. If an article exists, but not at the title you expected, you can create a redirect, or request creation.
• Check spelling and capitalization.
• Be sure the subject meets Wikipedia's inclusion criteria. Bear in mind that biographies of living people are held to more stringent standards than other articles.

Biography requests are ALPHABETIZED and organized by profession and nationality; add your request to both categories if possible. Keep requests alphabetized by the person's last name.

ENTRIES MUST INCLUDE:

• Name – be certain of the spelling; alphabetize by last name in each section.
• Identifying information – For, example, there are lots of James Smiths in the world; so specify which one are you asking about — the Scottish pathologist, the American rapper, or who?
• Notability – if it isn't already obvious from the identifying information, describe precisely what makes them notable. Be concise.
• Reference – add a link to a reliable source reference which identifies the person and/or highlights their notability

Please also add the Date requested – so that older requests can be more easily tracked.

Also, when adding a request, please include as much information as possible (such as webpages, articles, or other reference material) so editors can find and distinguish your request from an already-created article. Roughly three references and a short description should be sufficient.
